桜前線直前! ?お花見&3waybag Workshop RIDE Report

It was so warm and springlike on March 28th. We hold the cycling event that 3WAY BAG WORKSHOP RIDE.
This is the report blog.

The participants came to our office at 8:30am and registered the event.
it was cold a bit but they red the event contract and signed it.

According the custom, we took a photo before the event start.
Well now, let’s go cycling!

We went along Kandagawa River.

 

Kept going…

It was so wonderful if the cherry blossom has come out, but it hasn’t. However, we were lucky to find the cherry blossom. It wasn’t in full bloom but enough beautiful.

We arrived at Futaba-en, where we learn about and create Japanese traditional dyeing.
By the way, they made unique parking sign for us. It was very surprised and thank you very much!

Time to dyeing workshop!

The craft man was so friendly, he kind enough teach us about the dyeing and their history.

We used these pigments. Because the cloth were quite dark, we picked up some vivid colors this time.

Everybody printed so carefully.

Let’s see their work now.

Everybody showed their originality.
So brilliant!

After painting work, make the pigments fix on the cloth by using special steam machine.

15minutes to complete!

Now, time to leave for Yoyogi.

We kept go along the riverside and stoped at Yoyogi Village for lunch.

There are some restaurants in the village but we had a curry-rise.

Such a novel color!
It was so nice actually.

After having lunch, we went to Repre bag making school for 2nd workshop.

We tried to make a 3way bag. First of all, we learned how to use the sowing machine.

They were working much seriously.

The cloth transformed into a bag gradually.

1way bag already.

It’s done!

 

 

Some participants use the bag already when we go back to Asakusa.
